Mr. Kibugo said, his daughter in law ran away from his disabled grandson giving a reason that in their family history, they have never experienced such a misfortune and so she could not bear staying with that curse. She got married to another man leaving Nasib Kawuma a child with disability (Hydrocephalus) behind with them. Mr. Kibugo is now so happy with his disabled grandson because he has been well rehabilitated and he can now attend school. He thanked CPARO and other stakeholders for supporting him in this undertaking.

The grandmother (Namulwana Joyce) of Ssenkayi Miracle Autistic child said that she has a neighbor who is a motorcyclist (Boda-boda transporter) who never wanted his children to play with her grandson neither him to associate with Ssenkayi Miracle's grandmother (Ms. Namulwana Joyce), but one day in the month of May, 2023 at around midnight, Ssenkayi Miracle got an attack which needed medical attention. The grandmother of Ssenkayi did not have an alternative where instead, she had to go and contact Mr. Christopher Bazira (a Motorcyclist). When Mr. Bazira moved out of his house, he asked Ssenkayi's grandmother what the problem was. She sadly responded to him that they needed some help transporting the sick child (Ssenkayi Miracle) to a medical facility. What surprised Ssenkayi's mother was Mr. Baziru accepting to carry them to and from the medical facility.

Ms Nakabugo Catherine Lwanga Junior's grandmother, a child with cerebral palsy who is now under inclusive Education testified that, he used to keep his grandson indoors because she never wanted anyone to know that she was having a disabled child in her home. she said that one time as CPARO was moving door to door while sensitizing about the rights of disabled persons and giving out support to disabled households, she was prompted to move her disabled child out of prison (bed room) and she later called the CBR Worker Ms. Christine Ajambo to come back to her home to guide her on how to handle her grandchild. The day when the CPARO team went back to her home as she requested; she narrated that she was referring to her grandchild as a punishment from God because even his parents neglected him. She further said that it was not until the CPARO's intervention, she could not have known that her child has equal rights like other children.
