Cerebral palsy presents in human beings in two ways that is to say in the brain and body parts.

SPASTIC CEREBRAL PALSY
This type is caused by the damage to the Motor cortex and it results to stiffness and tightness in the muscles.
DYSKINETIC/ATHETIOD CEREBRAL PALSY
This type is due to the damage caused to the Basal ganglia and it is characterized by involuntary movement.
ATAXIC CEREBRAL PALSY
This type is due to the damage caused to the Cerebellum and it is characterized by shaky movements and affects the person’s balance and sense of positioning in the space.
MIXED CEREBRAL PALSY
This type damages someone’s brain in multiple locations. A person with this type experiences a combination of symptoms of all forms of CP.

QUADRIPLEGIA
This type affects all the limbs both arms and legs. A person’s torso, facial and oral muscles are usually affected.
TRIPLEGIA
This type affects three limbs, one arm and both legs. It can also affect Person’s torso, facial and oral muscles.
DIPLEGIA
This type affects both legs and a person’s arm can also be affected to a lesser extent.
HEMIPLEGIA
This type affects one side of the body. A person can either conceive the right side Hemiplegia or left side Hemiplegia. One arm and the leg of either side can be injured. This type injures only one limb..
